Overview: This course is about understanding the meaning of bullying and harassment in Australia, so you can learn to identify and prevent it from occurring in your workplace. We examine:
- the types of bullying and harassment,
- understand how they occur, and
- examine their impact on individuals.
We also review how to respond to instances of bullying and harassment and the various resolution procedures available.
Why is this course important? Bullying and harassment can cause major harm to the well-being of individuals and such behaviour can have a negative impact on a person's health and happiness, which affects their ability to do their job. Breaches of bullying and harassment laws can also incur significant costs on your business - penalties, litigation, loss of reputation and high levels of employee turnover.
