Overview: This is an 'Essentials' style course reviewing how to identify, respond to and report workplace bullying and harassment, in line with Australian legislation including the Sex Discrimination Act 1984 (Cth), the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) and work health and safety law. You'll review how to recognise unreasonable and unlawful conduct, including bullying, harassment and hostile work environments, understand your rights and responsibilities, and know what steps to take if you experience or witness this behaviour. 

Why is this course important? Bullying and harassment remain serious and prevalent problems in Australian workplaces, and understanding what counts as unacceptable behaviour helps you recognise it and know how to respond. Taking action, rather than staying silent, is what stops this behaviour from being seen as acceptable.

Suitable for: All employees and workers who need an efficient refresher to their rights and responsibilities on bullying and harassment under Australian law.

This Essentials course assumes learners have already completed previous training on this subject (and is designed as a periodic refresher).
