Overview: This course is part of the five-part Working with AI series, building directly on Fluency Foundations. It gives managers a practical way to decide what’s reasonable to delegate to AI assistance versus what still needs a person, how much scrutiny to apply when checking AI-assisted work, and how to set clear team expectations for when AI use should be flagged. It also covers three patterns worth watching for over time: inconsistent quality, over-reliance, and skill atrophy in junior staff, all of which build up quietly rather than announcing themselves.

Why is this course important? Delegation and quality-checking decisions now shape more of a team’s output than they used to, simply because AI is involved earlier and more often in how work gets done. Getting the judgement right protects both the quality of what your team produces and the long-term skills of the people doing it, particularly junior staff who risk losing learning opportunities they don’t yet know they’re missing.
