Overview: This course is about a general introduction and awareness of modern slavery in Australia and what it means for you and your organisation.

We examine the risks of modern slavery in your operations and supply chains. We help you recognise signs of modern slavery in your workplace and how to seek help or support if you suspect modern slavery is taking place.

Why is this course important? Modern slavery exists as part of global supply chains. It is estimated that over 40 million people are enslaved in the world, in many industries and even in private homes. Unfortunately, Australian research suggests that less than 20% of victims of modern slavery are ever identified in Australia. It is critical that all employees understand the reality of modern slavery and the best practices in recognising signs of modern slavery in your workplace.
