Overview: This course dives further into issues of resource management in the project management process. We begin with the key resource of time and look at specific techniques to accurately estimate the time required for a project. We then consider the issue of task dependencies and how to identify them in your project schedule. Finally, we consider how to build a resource management plan.

Why is this course important? The management of resources is a key task for any project manager. It will impact not only the timely execution of a project, but also whether that project is profitable or has the required resources to meet quality issues.

Suitable for: All employees. It assumes a basic understanding of project management and the stages of a project (covered in Project Management 1: Overview of this series). It also assumes a basic understanding of project management frameworks and scheduling.
