Overview: We look at the benefits of being an effective communicator (as a project manager) and then the methods, tools and framework used in a communication plan for a project.
Why is this course important? Through effective communication, we understand a project’s mission, distribute tasks, and give instructions. From the beginning to the end of a project, communication is essential. It helps to align expectations, promote responsibility, and keep everyone up to date. It enhances teamwork, boosts efficiency and, most importantly, leads to the desired project outcome.
Suitable for: All employees. It assumes a basic understanding of project management and the stages of a project (covered in Project Management 1: Overview of this series). It also assumes a basic understanding of project management frameworks and scheduling.
